Steam freezes and coats the grasses and trees by the warm springs. According to the US Fish & Wildlife:The Kendall Warm Springs dace (Rhinichthys osculus thermalis) is a member of the Cyprinidae family, and is the only fish species to inhabit the 85° F spring water in the Bridger-Teton National Park in Wyoming.
Actually, it's Mount Moran, not one of the Tetons, but it is in Grand Teton National Park. I was amused by the ducks swimming in the river & was waiting for 2 of them to do just this.
Though the clouds hid the mountains, they were nice and dramatic. The accompanying winds did their best to blow me off of my roof rack where I stood to take pictures.
