On a trip to Wyoming as my recovery from a largely sleepless Iceland tour, I roused myself from my sleeping bag to find some nice morning mist. The afternoon before, my husband & I had found this great wildflower meadow below Squaretop.
The Flattops are located SW of Steamboat Springs, CO. Though mammoths once ranged through the area, it's now the province of sheep, protected by Great Pyrenees dogs and their human handlers. And in July, wildflowers abound.
