Another clearing storm snapshot
For a few weeks a year, the setting sun can turn this ephemeral waterfall into a firefall. First, there has to be adequate snow in the small basin that is its source. Next, it has to warm up enough to melt it and turn it into a waterfall. Lastly, the sky must be clear in the west at sunset.
