The Subway 2018

The Subway in Zion can be accessed by a hike AKA bottom up or vis canyoneering AKA top down. I hike in from the bottom. There was a tiny bit of the ice on the walls on the left, little fingers about the size of Vienna sausages.

Endurance

A small bristlecone grows out of the rock near the Patriarch Grove in the Ancient Bristlecone Forest in the White Mountains of California's Eastern Sierras.

South Tufa

Limestone pinnacles rise out of Mono Lake in the Eastern Sierras of California.

Rabbitbrush Sunrise

With increased rainfall for the last several years, the rabbitbrush at South Tufa has multiplied like, well, rabbits!
